Folk Nylon Ball End
"Wound strings consist of a wrap wire coiled around a core of nylon floss (hundreds of tiny strands). Silver plated copper is the most popular. 80/20 bronze follows close behind.
Plain strings are made of a solid nylon filament. It is similar to, but not the same as, the nylon used for fishing line. They come in clear, black, and sometimes yellow "gold" color."
